About This Role
- Define and drive long-term technical vision, roadmap, and architecture for the payments engineering organization aligned with business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and grow multiple engineering managers and teams, overseeing hiring, performance, and career development.
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of complex software projects while managing engineering budgets, resource allocation, and process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in direct people management and 3+ years managing other managers.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Bachelor's with equivalent experience.
- Strong hands-on technical background in software development, architecture, and systems design.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and proven ability to ship complex, high-quality software products at scale.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership experience growing large engineering teams, including managers, with strong coaching skills.
- Able to set technical vision and translate business strategy into engineering execution and long-term architectural decisions.
- Experience in eCommerce and Payments industry or scaling engineering organizations during rapid growth.
