About This Role
- Lead feature testing and complex defect reproduction for SonicWall Firewall networking and security components.
- Architect and execute end-to-end test strategies including functional, system, and regression test suites.
- Develop and maintain automated Python test suites integrated into continuous testing pipelines and mentor QA team members.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of software quality assurance experience in networking and network security for enterprise network products or firewalls.
- 8+ years of test engineering and automation experience at senior/lead/principal level in networking/network security domain.
- Strong Python programming/scripting skills including OOP, test framework development, and REST API automation.
- Deep knowledge of L2–L7 networking, network security (NGFW, DPI, SSL/TLS, IPSec VPN), and experience with traffic generators and network packet analysis tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in reproducing complex customer issues and root cause analysis collaborating closely with firmware/software developers.
- Comfortable operating in Agile/Scrum environments across distributed teams and driving end-to-end Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Able to design system testbeds simulating enterprise network topologies and drive quality governance on security product features.
