About This Role
- Manage and support enterprise backup and recovery infrastructures using Veritas NetBackup and Commvault platforms, ensuring data availability, security, and recoverability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot backup operations, perform disaster recovery tests, and maintain compliance with SLAs, RPOs, and RTOs across diverse environments including servers, databases, virtual machines, applications, and cloud workloads.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including automation using scripting and APIs, platform modernization, capacity optimization, and backup security enhancement.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in enterprise backup, recovery, and infrastructure operations.
- Expert-level proficiency with Veritas NetBackup administration including Master Servers, Media Servers, policies, storage units, deduplication, and lifecycle policies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Commvault infrastructure including CommServe, MediaAgents, storage policies, backup/restore operations, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with backup security measures (encryption, immutability, ransomware protection), automation scripting (PowerShell, Python, Shell), and managing SLA, RPO, RTO compliance.

- Senior-level professional with demonstrated ownership of large-scale enterprise backup environments and disaster recovery readiness.
- Experience working collaboratively with infrastructure, cloud, storage, database, virtualization, and application teams to deliver integrated backup solutions.
- Proven ability to implement automation, optimize capacity, and enhance security in complex backup and recovery infrastructures within hybrid cloud and multi-technology environments.
