About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain applications and tools supporting Telstra’s Strategic Inventory and autonomous network capabilities.
- Develop modern user interfaces using React.js and design APIs for integration across network platforms, ensuring UX best practices.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, working within Agile, DevOps, Lean, and Human-Centred Design frameworks, and engage with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of overall software/application engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on API design and development experience.
- Proficiency in React.js, Docker, UX design principles, and CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Git/Bitbucket, CodePipeline.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in network-centric tool and system development, preferably with knowledge of network inventory layers (physical, logical, service).
- Comfortable working with Agile, DevOps, Lean, and Human-Centred Design methodologies and corresponding tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and technical communication, capable of translating complex requirements into software solutions.
