About This Role
- Own and operate a scalable secure software development lifecycle (SSDL) including threat modeling, security requirements, and secure design practices.
- Partner closely with engineering to integrate security features, secure design, and vulnerability management from code development through deployment.
- Manage vulnerability tracking, scanning, reporting, and resolution processes with defined SLAs, extending security to platform layers like cloud IAM, Kubernetes, and service-to-service trust.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product or application security with senior-level depth, preferably in a high-growth startup.
- Proven ownership and operation of a secure software development lifecycle at scale including threat modeling and secure design review.
- Hands-on expertise in cloud and Kubernetes security, including IAM, container image security, scanning, signing, and SBOM generation.
- Based in India; Work Experience Required: 8+ years in relevant product/application security roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced security engineer with deep hands-on cloud and Kubernetes security design and implementation skills, not just assessment expertise.
- Ability to lead and embed security best practices across engineering teams, including secure design of AI-powered coding workflows and agentic features.
- Track record in vulnerability triage, management, and resolution partnering directly with engineering teams to deliver scalable security programs.
