About This Role
- Build and automate SAP infrastructure platform using infrastructure-as-code and AI-assisted engineering, ensuring repeatable, secure, and reliable provisioning.
- Develop self-service capabilities (paved roads) that reduce operational friction and enable independent adoption by consuming teams.
- Engineer for reliability by defining SLOs, implementing observability, automating toil reduction, and collaborating on incident response and permanent fixes.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years overall experience, with 5-7 years in platform, infrastructure, or software engineering, including at least 2 years as a senior technical lead.
- Experience with SAP infrastructure, especially hosted on Azure, Google Cloud, or VMware platforms.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform applied at production scale, and experience with instrumenting observability and automating toil reduction.
- Degree in technology or engineering discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior engineer comfortable working in a platform engineering team interfacing with partner-managed services and cross-functional roles.
- Proven ability to deliver self-service infrastructure solutions adopted without direct support, indicating customer-centric and automation-first mindset.
- Experience evaluating and integrating AI-assisted engineering tools, maintaining code quality through disciplined review and mentoring of engineers including external partners.
