About This Role
- Build and automate SAP Infrastructure platform using infrastructure-as-code and AI-assisted engineering to ensure repeatable, secure, and reliable provisioning.
- Develop self-service capabilities and reduce manual intervention, enabling consuming teams to adopt platforms independently.
- Engineer for platform reliability by defining SLOs, automating toil reduction, participating in incident response, and collaborating with Site Reliability Engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years overall experience with at least 5-7 years in platform, infrastructure, or software engineering, including 2+ years as a senior technical voice in a team.
- Strong experience with SAP infrastructure on cloud platforms (Azure or Google Cloud) and VMware, including cloud infrastructure management.
- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform applied to production environments.
- Degree in technology or engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience; relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications desirable.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior hands-on engineer comfortable integrating and assuring managed service partner components within the platform.
- Experience driving platform adoption through self-service, automation-first approach and maintaining code quality via disciplined code reviews.
- Skilled in observability implementation, SLO definition, AI-assisted engineering tool usage with sound judgment on code quality, and transparent technical debt management.
