About This Role
- Lead architecture and development of DPI and SSL/TLS decryption engines for NGFW appliances and virtual firewalls.
- Drive design and integration of high-throughput L7 inspection and security services (Anti-Virus, IPS, Content Filtering, Application Control) across 10G–100G+ deployments.
- Own architecture reviews, author technical specifications, set performance benchmarks, and mentor senior engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of C/C++ experience in high-performance networking, packet processing, or L7 security engines on NGFW or carrier-grade platforms.
- Strong expertise in SSL/TLS internals (TLS 1.2/1.3, PKI, certificate management, OpenSSL/BoringSSL).
- Hands-on experience building or optimizing DPI or security service engines on commercial NGFW platforms.
- Work Experience Required: 10+ years in relevant domain.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and optimizing multi-core, low-latency packet processing software with concurrency and memory optimizations.
- Strong background in SSL/TLS and cryptography standards, capable of driving hardware acceleration strategies.
- Proven leadership in architecture definition and mentoring within complex, multi-threaded network security environments.
