About This Role
- Oversee and enhance first and second line defenses for key mega processes ensuring robust control designs and implementations.
- Drive ongoing evaluation and improvement of the control environment for business processes and internal controls over financial reporting.
- Collaborate with management, internal audit, and external auditors to ensure compliance, risk management, and successful control testing outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
- Typically 7-10 years of work experience in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or related field.
- Graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of SOX processes, regulatory compliance frameworks, and internal audit standards.
- Certification such as CPA or Chartered Accountant is a plus; Work Experience Required: 7-10 years as stated.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a controls leader or auditor with advanced knowledge of legal/regulatory environments related to internal audit.
- Ability to manage complex strategic compliance issues and drive adherence to regulatory requirements across multiple business functions.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills combined with project management and leadership capabilities in a global environment.
