About This Role
- Develop, configure, test, and maintain automated data reconciliation rules and controls across financial systems using reconciliation platforms and custom scripts.
- Investigate and resolve data breaks and discrepancies by analyzing data transformations and adjusting matching rules or data feeds.
- Write and optimize Python scripts and SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading; support unit testing, UAT, and deployment activities within Agile teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field required.
- 4-8 years of software development, data manipulation, or reconciliation configuration experience, preferably in Financial Services or IT.
- Proficient in Python (pandas, numpy) and SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Experience with batch data processing (e.g., Apache Spark/PySpark), workflow automation tools (e.g., Apache Airflow), and familiarity with reconciliation platforms or data pipelines.

- Experienced individual contributor comfortable delivering high-quality technical solutions for data reconciliation and automation within financial systems.
- Demonstrates strong operational focus on resolving data quality issues and maintaining continuous data feeds and reconciliations in an enterprise environment.
- Familiar with Agile software development processes, collaborative teamwork with business and operations stakeholders, and modern data platform technologies (cloud and batch processing).
