Job description
Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Define and implement the quality engineering strategy and standards for cloud platform products including test automation, infrastructure-as-code testing, and quality gates.
- Build and maintain continuous verification, shift-left quality in CI/CD pipelines focusing on security, compliance, performance, and resilience testing.
- Lead AI quality evaluation, GxP-compliant automated assurance, and mentor engineers to drive a quality-engineering community and technical direction across teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years in software or platform engineering with 3+ years leading quality/test engineering for tenant platforms at enterprise scale.
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform, policy-as-code (OPA/Rego), Azure and GCP, Kubernetes, GitOps, and CI/CD quality gates technologies (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Proficient in Python, Go or TypeScript for test frameworks and tooling.
- Experience in regulated industries with GxP or equivalent validation required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in setting technical quality directions across multiple teams without direct authority, comfortable influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong operational bias towards automation, risk-based testing, and engineering quality as a scalable, automated discipline rather than manual processes.
- Familiar with advanced topics such as AI/LLM system testing, software supply chain security standards, chaos engineering, and cloud/hybrid estate tools.
