Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Develop, test, and maintain production-grade machine learning models and pipelines for processing large-scale, unstructured industrial datasets.
- Convert research prototypes into high-performance, real-time ML applications with infrastructure support and deployment.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to deliver features on the technical roadmap, ensuring ML code quality with unit/integration tests and monitoring model performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3 to 6 years of software engineering experience with strong focus on machine learning or vice versa.
- Strong Python programming skills with experience in ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or LangChain.
- Experience with containerization (Docker), Linux command-line tools, large-scale data processing (PySpark, Pandas, or Dask), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Comfortable treating machine learning models as software components within large-scale industrial architectures, focusing on robust, testable production code.
- Ability to execute defined technical plans efficiently, troubleshooting and improving ML systems handling massive unstructured industrial data without failures.
- Experience or strong interest in MLOps, containerization, model deployment, and emerging paradigms like vector databases and agentic workflows is preferred.
