About This Role
- Lead design, development, and production operation of complex cloud-native platform components including Kubernetes operators and controllers.
- Serve as technical lead for major features and initiatives, translating ambiguous problems into scalable and executable designs aligned with broader platform architecture.
- Drive reliability, scalability, and engineering excellence while mentoring engineers and conducting reviews across the development lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
- 14+ years experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native platforms in production.
- Hands-on expertise developing Kubernetes Operators, Controllers, and platform automation primarily in Go, including use of Kubebuilder or Operator Framework.
- Experience operating both managed (EKS, AKS, GKE) and self-managed Kubernetes environments at scale with production ownership.
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and stateful/distributed workload operation on Kubernetes.

- Technical leadership style with strong focus on end-to-end ownership from architecture through deployment and operational support of complex cloud-native systems.
- Deep specialization in Kubernetes platform development including operators, controllers, CRDs, and infrastructure automation aligned with strategic engineering initiatives.
- Strong background in distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, and DevOps practices including CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, and observability.
