About This Role
- Manage and secure AWS production infrastructure including provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting of AWS services and networking.
- Implement and maintain AWS security controls, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure hardening to ensure compliance and reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation (infrastructure as code), monitoring, incident response, cost optimization, and collaboration with technical leadership and teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 12–15 years of overall IT experience with 7–10 years of hands-on AWS administration.
- Proficient in AWS infrastructure services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudFormation/Terraform, and Linux/Windows server administration.
- Experience with AWS security implementations, operational hardening, incident response, automation scripting in Python/Bash/PowerShell.
- Primary work location is in-office with some flexibility; strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced AWS administrator with strong operational ownership in large enterprise/cloud environments focused on security and reliability.
- Hands-on engineer comfortable with automation, infrastructure as code, and cross-team collaboration including mentoring juniors and engaging with technical leadership.
- Experienced in incident management, security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS), and cost & capacity planning for cloud infrastructure.
