About This Role
- Design and develop enterprise-grade Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic tabular models aligned with business and regulatory requirements, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Own end-to-end BI engineering tasks including advanced SQL data preparation, optimization, and implementation of AI/ML analytics use cases such as forecasting and anomaly detection.
- Provide technical leadership and collaborate globally with architects, data engineers, and stakeholders to deliver robust, user-centric analytics solutions in asset management domain.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience delivering BI and analytics solutions in enterprise or consulting environments.
- Strong domain experience in banking or financial services (risk, finance, operations, client reporting).
- Expert-level skills in SQL (advanced joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, performance tuning) and proficiency in Microsoft Power BI including DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling, Direct Query sources like Snowflake or Azure SQL.
- Hands-on knowledge of Python for analytics, ML, and AI use cases; experience with Power BI service operations including RLS and deployment pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior individual contributor with ability to operate independently and provide end-to-end technical leadership in complex multidomain analytics projects.
- Experience working in asset management or financial data environments and comfortable with data engineering, AI/ML techniques integrated into BI solutions.
- Strong focus on semantic modeling, performance optimization, stakeholder engagement, and implementing governance and security models specific to banking.
