About This Role
- Own and enhance the Internal Hosting Portal’s server-side and workflow automation to enable cloud resource self-service provisioning via APIs and integrations.
- Engineer infrastructure provisioning with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and reliability practices including defining SLOs, observability instrumentation, and toil automation.
- Lead engineering standards, mentor other engineers including partners, oversee incident automation, and integrate managed service components to maintain platform quality.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or software engineering with at least 2 years as a senior technical lead.
- Expertise in TypeScript (ES6+), Node.js server-side development, REST/GraphQL API design, workflow orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform) on Microsoft Azure and GCP.
- Degree in a technology or engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience; relevant cloud certifications desirable (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), containerization (Docker), test automation (Jest, Cypress), and modern authentication/authorization (OAuth v2, SAML, JWT).

- Senior hands-on platform engineer able to set and uphold engineering standards in code reviews and lead partner engineers.
- Experienced in building self-service platforms with a focus on automation-first, secure-by-default engineering and an SRE mindset.
- Comfortable integrating AI-assisted engineering tools with strong judgement on generated code quality and skilled at making technical debt and automation needs visible to product owners.
