About This Role
- Lead SOC shift operations including alert prioritization, escalation management, and SLA adherence in a 24/7 environment.
- Investigate complex security incidents (phishing, malware, ransomware, endpoint and network threats) and conduct threat hunting and attacker behavior mapping to MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Develop and optimize SIEM detection rules using Microsoft Sentinel and KQL, utilize AI/LLM tools for investigation assistance and automate SOC tasks using scripting and SOAR tools.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SOC, cyber defense, or incident response including shift leadership and analyst mentoring.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, SIEM, EDR/XDR platforms, and practical AI/LLM skills for security operations.
- Experience in scripting/automation using Python, PowerShell, APIs, or SOAR; must be willing to work 24/7 rotational shifts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced SOC shift lead with strong operational command over incident response and threat investigation workflows.
- Practically skilled in advanced use of AI/LLM tools for security investigations and automation, with deep knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel and related security platforms.
- Capable of mentoring analysts to improve investigation quality and reduce false positives while ensuring audit-ready documentation and process consistency.
