About This Role
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable, reliable microservices and APIs powering Clearwater's platform.
- Solve complex problems through research and collaboration; troubleshoot and resolve production incidents including on-call participation.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate software applications successfully.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years software development experience in Java or similar typed, object-oriented backend language (e.g., Python, Go).
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Experience with microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, messaging, and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Working knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases and CI/CD pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to design and maintain scalable microservices in cloud-native, distributed systems environments.
- Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating effectively with product and client-facing teams in SaaS contexts.
- Strong automated testing knowledge and commitment to software quality and customer-centric solutions.
