About This Role
- Own the technical design of a DPTF platform, defining reference architectures, patterns, and standards to ensure secure, scalable, and consistent solutions.
- Provide design assurance and technical guidance to engineering teams, ensuring platform reliability, resilience, security, and compliance including GxP requirements.
- Design AI integration into the platform with reference patterns for AI-assisted delivery and intelligent, self-healing operations while collaborating with Enterprise Architecture and Information Security.
Minimum Requirements
- Typically 15+ years in technology architecture or senior engineering with at least 3 years producing reference architectures or standards.
- Degree in technology or engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience; architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF) are desirable.
- Deep domain expertise in cloud, network, or digital workplace platforms with hands-on design assurance or architecture review experience.
- Experience designing secure, compliant solutions involving regulated contexts (e.g., GxP) and setting architecture standards for suppliers and managed services.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in architecting for reliability and resilience using SLOs and error budgets, and able to assess technical debt pragmatically.
- Familiar with AI reference patterns and preferably has hands-on experience with AI/agentic systems and ML lifecycle at production scale.
- Skilled in influencing engineering teams on pattern adoption without direct authority and comfortable evaluating technology based on measured outcomes rather than vendor claims.
