About This Role
- Own solution architecture and design assurance for major Digital &Tech initiatives, ensuring compliance with architecture standards and alignment with business outcomes.
- Design and embed reliability, resilience, observability, and AI-enabled solutions where they accelerate delivery or operations.
- Provide design reviews including authority to decline non-compliant designs and work cross-domain to maintain end-to-end solution coherence.
Minimum Requirements
- 18+ years in technology architecture or senior engineering with at least 3 years producing solution designs for major initiatives.
- Experience across multiple technology domains, including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS on Azure and/or GCP, and modern engineering workflows such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability.
- Degree in a technology or engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience; architecture certifications are desirable.
- Experience in design assurance including declining designs; designing secure, compliant solutions; and assuring supplier or systems integrator designs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in influencing business domain architects and running architecture reviews with strong decision authority.
- Comfortable balancing business outcome, cost, risk, and technical fit in solution designs and pragmatic about managing technical debt.
- Skilled in early engagement during initiative shaping and communicating architecture decisions to mixed technical and business audiences.
