About This Role
- Build and scale accounting processes for global payment processing cost accounting.
- Partner cross-functionally with product, go-to-market, Finance, systems, and engineering teams to advise on accounting implications and automate processes.
- Execute monthly and quarterly close activities, financial reporting, internal controls assessment, and support audits.
Minimum Requirements
- Professional accountancy qualification (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proficient in US GAAP including ASC 606, monthly/quarterly close processes, journal entry posting, audits, and internal controls.
- Work Experience Required: 2–3 years relevant accounting experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling complex accounting within fast-growing, technology-driven environments, preferably with payments industry exposure.
- Comfortable collaborating across cross-functional and international teams to translate product and business changes into accounting practices.
- Skilled in leveraging financial systems and automation, including Excel and data-analysis tools, to improve operational efficiency and handle ambiguity.
