About This Role
- Own and enforce global engineering standards and Secure SDLC across product teams to ensure quality and predictability worldwide, with Hyderabad as the primary hub.
- Lead Hyderabad superhub as a benchmark for engineering talent density, technical judgment, and delivery discipline, raising hiring and performance bar and building Staff+ talent.
- Own engineering career frameworks and learning paths for consistent progression, calibration, and technical depth, advising on architecture, quality, delivery, and escalating when standards or security are compromised.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering leadership experience in large, multi-site organizations with 500+ engineers.
- Proven record of raising engineering standards, including hiring bar, performance calibration, architecture/quality gates, and delivery accountability.
- Experience with Secure SDLC and engineering standards ownership, preferably in financial services or regulated environments.
- Experience building or transforming major engineering hubs or multi-site centers of excellence; Hyderabad location is primary stage (onsite).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong technical credibility with hands-on ability across web, mobile, and backend development to mentor and guide engineers and architects.
- Demonstrated experience driving adoption of AI tools in product development with balanced judgment on quality impacts.
- Strategic leader able to reset culture from ‘yes’ mindset to ‘done’ focus, with strong product sense including UX, business logic, and non-functional requirements.
