About This Role
- Monitor enterprise network, server, and cloud infrastructure using tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, or Datadog to ensure system availability.
- Perform initial triage and troubleshooting of alerts, create and manage incident tickets, and escalate unresolved issues within SLA timelines.
- Maintain documentation including shift handover logs, SOP updates, and recurring issue reports to support 24/7 operations.
Minimum Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in NOC, technical support, or IT helpdesk environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications, or equivalent diploma.
- Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (OSI layers, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, OSPF, BGP), and command-line troubleshooting in Linux/Unix and Windows Server.
- Willingness to work 24/7 shift schedule including some weekends.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Familiar with network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities such as ping, traceroute, tcpdump, and ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.
- Comfortable working in a globally distributed, 24/7 operational environment handling first-line network incident response.
- Holds or is working towards relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL v4 Foundation.
