About This Role
- Own technical design of a DPTF platform by defining reference architectures, patterns, and standards that ensure security, scalability, and consistency.
- Provide design assurance and technical guidance to engineering teams, focusing on reliability, resilience, AI integration, and compliance (including GxP).
- Partner with stakeholders across architecture domains, evaluate new technologies against architecture OKRs, and influence platform roadmap decisions based on architectural impact.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in technology or engineering discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems) or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years in technology architecture or senior engineering with minimum 3 years producing reference architectures or standards.
- Deep hands-on expertise in relevant platform domain (cloud, network, or digital workplace) and experience with architecture review and design assurance.
- Experience architecting for reliability/resilience to meet SLOs and error budgets, designing secure compliant solutions including regulated contexts (GxP), and setting architecture standards for supplier/managed solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in guiding engineering teams on adoption of architecture standards without direct authority and making architectural exception judgements.
- Knowledgeable in AI reference patterns for assisted delivery and intelligent operations; preferably with hands-on AI/agentic systems architecture experience.
- Collaborative across enterprise architecture, security, and reliability teams; pragmatic about technical debt and vendor evaluation based on outcome metrics.
