About This Role
- Participate in the design and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
- Identify system enhancements, analyze issues, recommend and implement solutions, focusing on Oracle database and SQL performance.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and write code following design specifications, ensuring compliance with business and technical standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of programming experience.
- Strong knowledge of RDBMS concepts and ACID properties.
- Proficient in Oracle DB: writing performant SQL queries, query tuning, functions, stored procedures, packages, and DB links.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Oracle database development with emphasis on SQL performance tuning and complex query writing.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex system issues using knowledge of business and system processes.
- Familiarity with ETL, Data Warehouse concepts, or BI tools like Cognos is a plus but not mandatory.
