About This Role
- Design and develop engineering solutions aligned to business goals for the cards team in Germany, including translating business requirements into technical solution designs.
- Manage implementation with vendors, support testing activities, ensure production handover, and act as Subject Matter Expert for L3 Support.
- Ensure solution designs align with technical platform modernization, participate in incident and problem resolution, and promote reusability and maintainability of engineering solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 10 years hands-on experience in Java solution design and software development with strong skills in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing, developing, consuming APIs and microservices using SOAP, REST, XML, JSON.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps tools like Git, TeamCity, Maven, Sonar.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or comparable professional experience; experience with Agile/SCRUM and Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in enterprise-level Java Spring Boot development within an Agile/SCRUM environment, familiar with cards domain for Germany market.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor collaborations, lead technical solution delivery, and support production environments (L3 support).
- Able to leverage AI tools responsibly to enhance productivity and solve business problems, with strong communication skills in English.
