About This Role
- Develop and deliver code for Haleon’s Enterprise Data & Analytics Platform from origin to production, enabling faster acquisition, ingestion, and curation of analytical-ready datasets.
- Collaborate closely with 3rd party service providers to ensure timely and quality delivery aligning with the platform ecosystem.
- Own development and delivery projects through to completion while maintaining governance and risk management across global programs.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with strong coding skills in Python, SQL, Scala, or similar.
- Experience with Azure data and analytics technologies including Databricks, Data Factory, SQL DW, Power BI, and Power Apps.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Agile delivery frameworks and tools such as SAFe, Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in big data processing and schema-on-read methodologies, with preference for Spark, Databricks, and Delta Lake expertise applied to data science and machine learning problems.
- Skilled at integrating and supporting diverse enterprise data tools such as Ataccama, Talend, Collibra, Snowflake, and StreamSets in complex environments.
- Capable of articulating business value of analytics projects and progressing solutions from MVP to scaled production, collaborating effectively with IT and commercial business stakeholders.
