About This Role
- Ensure timely availability of materials by managing supplier order execution and performance to meet production needs.
- Own supplier performance metrics including On-Time Delivery (OTD), material availability, and fulfillment KPIs to prevent line stoppages.
- Coordinate cross-functionally across Engineering, Production, Quality, and Logistics to support order fulfilment, inspections, and new product development.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a reputed institute.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant procurement or buying experience.
- Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle preferred), MRP/production planning, and advanced Excel skills.
- Based in Marhowrah (Saran), with travel to suppliers across India as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in supplier management focusing on on-time delivery, quality, and recovery actions during supply disruptions.
- Skilled at cross-functional coordination with multiple internal teams and external supplier networks including offshore suppliers.
- Capable of managing multiple suppliers and projects simultaneously with strong commercial acumen and contract awareness.
