About This Role
- Lead and manage a global Database Administration team ensuring high availability, security, performance, and scalability of enterprise databases (primarily SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Sybase).
- Own and advance enterprise database strategy, including cloud platform modernization and large-scale data platform migrations with hands-on expertise in database operations and automation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize database design, performance tuning, and incident response to support mission-critical financial, regulatory, and analytical systems globally.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field.
- Minimum 8+ years progressive hands-on experience in database administration and engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing database teams.
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server technologies including Failover Clustering, AlwaysOn Availability Groups, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.
- Strong skills in PowerShell and T-SQL scripting for automation and optimization; proficiency in Azure cloud (IaaS/PaaS) database services.
- Work Experience Required: 8+ years DB administration with 3+ years leadership
