About This Role
- Proactively monitor and troubleshoot the production environment, including debugging across the full stack and outage analysis.
- Develop and deliver software tools and automation to enhance system availability, reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure operational readiness and participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and monitoring improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years in UNIX-based large-scale web operations.
- 2+ years programming experience in Java (preferred), Ruby, or Python.
- Experience with relational (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in multi-threaded and highly scalable server-side application debugging and troubleshooting.
- Able to operate independently in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in analytical problem solving and working with distributed teams across geographies.
