About This Role
- Design, build, and own modular native iOS features integrating with eBay's self-service platforms and backend services.
- Manage full feature lifecycle including technical design, implementation, testing, release, and post-launch support of iOS applications.
- Contribute to backend services, APIs, and platform integrations to support seamless end-to-end customer experiences and broader team priorities.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing native iOS applications in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C and experience with Xcode, modern iOS APIs, Swift Concurrency, SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
- Experience implementing automated testing at unit, integration, and UI levels.
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years native iOS application development; other technical skills include backend knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Python, REST, and/or GraphQL (for cross-stack support).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in both native iOS mobile development and backend/API service integration for full stack contributions.
- Comfortable leading technical design discussions, evaluating tradeoffs, and providing effort estimates in a distributed engineering environment.
- Capable of maintaining high code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and use of AI-assisted development tools to increase delivery speed and quality.
