About This Role
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain distributed, microservices-based applications focusing on performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code with multiple levels of automated testing and participate in troubleshooting production incidents including on-call support.
- Mentor newer engineers and collaborate across teams to integrate software and improve software quality.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of software development experience in Java or another typed, object-oriented backend language (e.g., Python, Go).
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems (REST/gRPC APIs, messaging), public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD, and production monitoring.
- Working knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL data stores and strong command of automated testing and software engineering best practices.

- Experienced backend developer skilled in microservices architecture and public cloud environments with a strong emphasis on software quality and testing.
