About This Role
- Manage and sequence the domain's portfolio of work, aligning delivery with strategy, capacity, and dependencies while providing transparency to domain leaders.
- Own and maintain the portfolio prioritisation framework, governance forums, and reporting, using lean portfolio methods including flow metrics and OKR tracking.
- Coach teams on portfolio discipline and use AI tools to enhance portfolio analysis, dependency detection, forecasting, and benefit realisation after delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- Overall 15 years of experience with 6-8 years in portfolio management, PMO, or delivery management including 2+ years at domain or programme-level portfolio responsibility.
- Practical experience in lean or agile portfolio management, including demand intake and sequencing work against capacity and dependencies.
- Strong background in technology portfolio management within connectivity or infrastructure domains.
- Degree in technology, engineering, or business discipline or equivalent; portfolio or agile certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced portfolio manager familiar with lean/agile techniques rather than traditional project reporting, comfortable operating at domain/programme-level scope.
- Skilled at enforcing demand intake discipline and identifying cross-platform dependencies early to prevent delivery failures.
- Capable in using metrics-driven portfolio steering (flow metrics, OKRs) and leveraging AI-assisted analytics to improve portfolio transparency and delivery predictability.
