About This Role
- Own the technical design, reference architectures, patterns, and standards of GSK's enterprise wireless platform ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
- Provide design assurance and technical guidance to engineering teams to ensure architectures meet reliability, resilience, and security requirements including GxP compliance.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies based on architecture OKRs and collaborate with other architecture teams to maintain standards and reduce rework.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in technology or engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- 15+ years total experience with 6-8 years in technology architecture or senior engineering; minimum 3 years producing reference architectures or standards.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with enterprise wireless services including RF design, capacity, roaming, guest access, and wireless security.
- Experience in designing secure, compliant (GxP preferred), resilient solutions; and running design assurance or architecture reviews.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior-level platform architect with strong expertise in enterprise wireless architecture and security by design including GxP contexts.
- Experienced in setting and enforcing architecture standards across internal teams and suppliers with comfort challenging vendor claims.
- Strategic operator focused on measurable impact: ensuring SLOs, reducing rework, managing technical debt visibility, and enabling AI-assisted platform operations.
