About This Role
- Own the technical design of GSK's local area network and campus switching platform, including defining reference architectures, patterns, and standards for security, scalability, and consistency.
- Provide design assurance by reviewing engineering team designs against standards before build, ensuring reliability, resilience, and compliance including GxP requirements.
- Integrate AI into the platform via reference patterns for AI-assisted delivery and intelligent operations and evaluate new technologies against architecture OKRs.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years overall experience, with 6-8 years in technology architecture or senior engineering and at least 3 years producing reference architectures or standards.
- Degree in technology or engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience; architecture certifications desirable (e.g., TOGAF or relevant cloud/network certifications).
- Extensive experience in designing enterprise local area network and campus switching services, with deep knowledge of routing, switching, QoS, resilience, segmentation, and network access control.
- Experience designing secure and compliant solutions including GxP or another regulated environment; experience running design assurance or architecture review processes.
