About This Role
- Design and ship production-grade AI agent systems that integrate enterprise services and APIs with secure, scalable, and reliable performance.
- Develop backend orchestration systems for tool calling, memory, retrieval, and multi-agent coordination at enterprise scale with observability and error handling.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams setting standards for generative AI development while applying Responsible AI practices and managing LLMOps pipelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience building and operating production backend services including distributed APIs and async processing at scale.
- Hands-on experience launching at least one LLM-powered application with tool/function calling to production.
- Proficiency in Python (async programming, API development), SQL, and working with at least one cloud platform (preferably AWS).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced backend engineer with demonstrated ability in production system design and API integration for AI applications involving multi-step workflows and tool orchestration.
- Familiarity or quick adaptability to generative AI engineering including prompt design, embeddings, agent memory, and LLMOps.
- Leadership experience mentoring engineers and translating technical work into business value in enterprise contexts involving advanced AI solutions.
