About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic on mainframe systems.
- Refactor legacy code to enable integration with modern cloud and mobile applications.
- Monitor and optimize mainframe performance, debug and troubleshoot complex system interactions.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 9+ years of experience as a software engineer on complex software projects.
- Proficient in languages such as Java, Python, .Net with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, XML/JSON, REST-based web services, microservices architecture, containers (Docker & Kubernetes), messaging queues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in software development methodologies for scalable and robust software delivery.
- Strong understanding of OOP and design patterns with practical architecture design knowledge.
- Capable of bridging legacy systems with cloud-based services, suitable for modernization projects involving mainframe environments.
