About This Role
- Respond proactively to monitoring alerts and provide first escalation support for Linux and Windows systems, databases, and utilities across cloud or physical hardware.
- Drive investigations and triage during incidents and outages, ensuring efficient resolution and maintaining environment health and stability.
- Manage operational documentation (runbooks), case workloads, and collaborate closely with teams during shift changes and incident management in a 24x7 environment.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience including Linux Systems Administration.
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration, networking concepts, incident/change/problem management, and multi-tier application support.
- Experience with automation tools and operational monitoring solutions (PagerDuty, LogicMonitor, Splunk preferred).
- Fluent written and oral communication in English.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing cloud and on-premise infrastructure with strong troubleshooting skills across multiple technologies (Linux, Windows, databases, networks).
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, 24x7 operational environment handling incident management, escalation, and root cause analysis.
- Strategic focus on maintaining system integrity, security incident mitigation, and effective documentation for operational consistency.
