About This Role
- Own daily administration, deployment, and upgrade of Central System and Device applications across on-premise and cloud platforms, ensuring minimal impact to operational services.
- Manage application performance, troubleshooting containerized applications on Docker and Kubernetes, and maintaining secure, licensed software environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT teams, developers, and clients; provide system tuning and assistance with OS, network infrastructure, and database configurations; and participate in 24x7 on-call support rotations.
Minimum Requirements
- University degree in a numerate field (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, Natural Science) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years maintaining both third-party COTS applications (e.g., Apache Kafka, Zookeeper) and internally developed software.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and administration of Windows and UNIX OS including bash scripting.
- Knowledge of SQL, databases (SQL Server, Oracle), and system administration principles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex, multi-platform application environments combining Windows, UNIX/Linux, and cloud infrastructures with strong scripting and automation skills.
- Proficient in container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (Azure).
- Capable of managing full application lifecycle from deployment through performance tuning and troubleshooting in a collaborative, 24x7 support environment.
