Job description
Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Build and maintain a centralized CI/CD platform supporting diverse build tools, test frameworks, and deployment targets across multiple teams.
- Define and enforce standardized quality gates including linting, testing, and security checks while preserving flexibility for application teams.
- Collaborate with application teams to gather requirements and support deployments on internal PaaS, Kubernetes/ArgoCD, and AWS, contributing to long-term platform vision.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on CI/CD, developer tooling, or platform engineering at senior level.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Travis CI and designing scalable pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerized deployments and cloud environments such as Kubernetes and AWS.
- Proficiency with Linux command line, file system, and OS concepts including package managers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in balancing standardization and flexibility for multi-team CI/CD platform governance and adoption.
- Skilled in collaborating directly with engineering teams to build solutions that drive adoption rather than impose requirements.
- Knowledgeable in software packaging lifecycle and developer enablement tools, with a strategic focus on improving engineering workflows and developer experience.
