About This Role
- Lead end-to-end ISPW Production Control including build generation, promotions, release scheduling, deployments, and post-implementation validation.
- Serve as senior technical escalation point for high-priority incidents and business-critical releases, driving resolution and preventive actions.
- Administer and support BMC AMI DevX Code Pipeline, managing upgrades, patching, configurations, and coordinating for platform stability.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years experience in Mainframe Production Control, ISPW release management and administration within z/OS environments.
- Strong expertise in BMC AMI DevX Code Pipeline (ISPW) including all aspects of deployment and failure analysis.
- Proven knowledge of z/OS technologies (JCL, TSO/ISPF, datasets, batch processing, REXX) and working familiarity with COBOL, Db2, CICS, IMS.
- Willingness to work hybrid in Bengaluru or Chennai with rotational shifts, weekend releases, and critical production support coverage.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in administering ISPW and resolving high-priority incidents in enterprise mainframe environments with strong operational ownership.
- Familiar with ITIL/ITSM Incident, Problem, Change, and Release management including Sev-1 and Sev-2 production support.
- Comfortable working in hybrid on-site model with shift flexibility, able to manage production-critical deployments under pressure.
