About This Role
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Develop and integrate event-driven microservices using Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, and asynchronous messaging in AWS environments.
- Lead troubleshooting, CI/CD support, participate in architecture discussions, and mentor engineers to deliver reliable enterprise software solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Java backend software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, RESTful APIs, and Apache Kafka integration.
- Experience developing and deploying Java applications in AWS or similar cloud environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and maintaining distributed microservices architecture with strong understanding of application resiliency and fault tolerance.
- Skilled in event-driven architectures using Kafka in production, with knowledge of advanced event streaming technologies.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, work cross-functionally, and contribute to Agile development in regulated enterprise environments such as Financial Services.
