About This Role
- Lead design and development of backend systems supporting Tax Information Reporting Suite and Core Services with focus on scalable, reliable service delivery.
- Own backend architecture, data workflows, SQL/stored procedures, and platform integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams for releases and production support.
- Guide technical decisions, mentor engineers, and enforce best practices in coding, performance, security, and automation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5-6 years hands-on experience in core Python and Perl backend development.
- At least 3 years experience with relational databases (Sybase, Oracle, or MS SQL) and strong PL/SQL skills for debugging and optimization.
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments and version control tools like Subversion or Git.

- Strong backend engineering expertise in Python, Perl, and relational database systems with PL/SQL focus.
- Ability to independently design high-quality backend solutions and apply design patterns appropriately.
