About This Role
- Own end-to-end backend feature development for a .NET 9 modular monolith, including design, implementation, testing, code review, deployment, and production verification.
- Develop multi-tenant data access and asynchronous processing pipelines with technologies including EF Core 9, SQL Server, Azure Storage Queues, and Hangfire, ensuring tenant isolation as a security boundary.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues in Azure using Application Insights, KQL, structured logs, and correlation IDs; maintain high code quality through automated tests and peer reviews.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years professional experience with senior-level expertise in C# and .NET Core / .NET 5 or later (currently .NET 9).
- Proficiency in ASP.NET Core Web API design, Entity Framework Core (beyond CRUD), and SQL Server/T-SQL query optimization.
- Experience with asynchronous/concurrent programming (async/await, cancellation tokens) and Azure development (App Service, Functions, Key Vault, Storage).
- Production diagnostics experience in Azure (Application Insights, KQL, structured logging) and strong English written communication; work overlaps with Australian business hours.
