About This Role
- Own design, development, and maintenance of scalable data ingestion, processing, and production pipelines to support business analytics and reporting.
- Lead data engineering efforts including data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization to meet SLAs and scalability needs.
- Manage end-to-end delivery including UAT readiness, deployment, hypercare support, knowledge transfer, and handover to support teams for global projects and local enhancements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent; Master's degree is a plus.
- 6+ years relevant industry experience with at least 3 years in hands-on data engineering.
- Proficient in SQL, data modeling, programming in Python/Scala/Java, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred, GCP/Azure valued).
- Experience with distributed data processing technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop/Hive, Kafka or equivalents.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or related domains is strongly preferred.
- Skilled at collaborating with IT, business functions, and multiple global stakeholders in Agile environments.
- Demonstrates expertise in building scalable, maintainable data platforms with a strong focus on automation, performance, and quality.
