About This Role
- Design, implement, and support Microsoft SQL Server databases across on-prem and cloud environments to ensure efficient and scalable IT infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain automation for provisioning, patching, and gold image releases of SQL Server versions using Ansible Automation Platform and scripting tools like PowerShell and YAML.
- Participate in product planning, execution, and delivery with focus on aligning automation efforts to product goals and improving system software development lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Ansible Automation Platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related Technology field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server Database and Tools, Ansible Automation, YAML, and PowerShell scripting mandatory.
- Experience with SQL Server backup solutions (e.g., Commvault, Cohesity) and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure engineering with strong automation skills using Ansible and scripting for deployment and maintenance tasks.
- Comfortable working with both on-premises and cloud environments with understanding of Windows OS, Active Directory, and high availability configurations like Always On Availability Groups.
- Demonstrates capacity to independently troubleshoot, own automation projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and align technical solutions with product and organizational goals.
