About This Role
- Test retail POS systems end-to-end covering transactions, payments, peripherals, and integrations for enterprise retailers.
- Write and execute detailed test plans and cases for sales, returns, tenders, and daily operations ensuring flawless functionality before rollout.
- Log, track, and retest defects; contribute to regression and automation testing; support UAT and store pilot rollouts.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of software testing experience, with at least 2 years on retail POS systems; Oracle Xstore experience preferred.
- Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Zephyr, or ALM.
- Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, or similar) and SQL for data validation.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 4 years in software testing as stated.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in retail POS environments with strong understanding of retail store operations and payment processes.
- Proficient in executing and managing comprehensive testing cycles including integration points with merchandising, CRM, and order management systems.
- Skilled in defect tracking and regression testing with ability to effectively support user acceptance testing and pilot deployments.
