About This Role
- Design and implement Big Data solutions primarily on AWS using technologies like Apache Spark, Databricks, Delta Tables, EMR, Athena, and Glue.
- Develop and maintain scalable ELT processes and Big Data production systems to meet company needs.
- Collaborate with software development teams and build cloud platforms supporting company applications.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Big Data Engineer.
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem, Apache Spark, Databricks, Delta Tables, AWS data analytics services including Athena, Glue, Redshift, and EMR.
- Familiarity with JSON, Parquet file formats, NoSQL and RDBMS databases.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building scalable, cloud-based Big Data platforms on AWS using modern data engineering tools and frameworks.
- Capable of independently architecting ELT pipelines and resolving complex data processing and transformation challenges.
- Has practical experience working in dynamic development environments collaborating with software teams for integrated solutions.
