About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performing .NET backend and SQL Server solutions.
- Own end-to-end production database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks proactively.
- Build monitoring and alerting systems to detect performance degradation and support production incident resolution.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Entity Framework/Core, LINQ, ADO.NET, and SQL Server performance tuning.
- Experience troubleshooting production performance issues and working with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in performance engineering across both application (.NET backend) and database (SQL Server) layers with measurable impact.
- Comfortable working in a SaaS environment with large-scale customer-facing applications and production support responsibilities including on-call rotations.
- Skilled collaborator who partners with engineering teams on database design and proactive reliability improvements.
