About This Role
- Design, build, and operate high-performance, secure, scalable integration solutions using IBM App Connect, IBM MQ, and API platforms.
- Produce complex, high-quality software rapidly with end-to-end responsibility, including CI/CD pipeline implementation and cloud-native containerized solutions on OpenShift/Kubernetes.
- Drive technical delivery, performance optimization, and apply AI/LLM capabilities across the software development lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years hands-on software engineering and integration experience with SOA/IBM middleware applications involving WebSphere Message Broker and IBM WebSphere MQ.
- Strong programming skills in Java and Python, including multithreading and concurrent programming.
- Experience with IBM App Connect, IBM MQ, API technologies (SOAP/XML, REST/JSON, YAML, XSL, ESQL, WSDL, XSD), CP4I, ArgoCD or similar GitOps tools.
- Work location: India (Bangalore); must work normal days in India as per job description.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in implementing integration patterns such as orchestration, aggregation, pub/sub, fire-and-forget using IBM middleware.
- Skilled in automation, static code analysis, automated testing & deployment, and working knowledge of observability tools like DxAPM, OpenTelemetry, Splunk.
- Comfortable working in permanent teams responsible for full lifecycle development and collaborating on software engineering capability optimization.
